TCS Colombo Plan Lecturers on Deputation: 

Under the TCS of Colombo Plan Government of India deputes lecturers to Bhutan on the request made by the Royal University of Bhutan. The salaries and allowances of the Indian lecturers on deputation with RUB is paid by the Government of India under this Scheme. 

Royal University of Bhutan requests Governmnet of India for deputation of lecturers in various colleges. The lecturers are selected by GoI for a period of 2 years.

In academic year 2018-19, 11 lecturers from India have been deployed in 6 colleges of Bhutan.
