Government of India releases cheques worth of Rs./Nu. 325.22 million for Project Tied Assistance Projects
Mr. S Koventhan, First Secretary (Economic and Commerce), Embassy of India handed over cheques amounting to Rs./Nu. 325.22 million for GoI Project Tied Assistance projects to Mr. Passang, Sr. Programme Coordinator, GNH Commission on 15th January, 2019.
The release of funds of worth Rs./Nu. 325.22 million pertains to (1) Up-gradation of Wangdue-Chuserboo highway, (2) Construction of Pemagatshel Dzong and (3) Undergraduate Scholarship. Out of bridge financing of Rs./Nu. 1970.9 million, that has been agreed in the 6th Plan Talks & 1st Bilateral Consultation Meeting on Development Co-operation, Rs./Nu. 783.66 million has released and will be part of GoI’s assistance for the 12th five year plan of RGoB.
