Press Release: Online applications for Ambassador's Scholarship 2022-23

Embassy of India announced Ambassador’s Scholarship on 03 June, 2022 for Bhutanese students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses in non-Buddhist studies (general subjects) and Buddhist studies in India for the Academic Year 2022-2023. 2. An amount of Nu.40 million is disbursed every year under this Scheme and approx. 9,000 Bhutanese students have been awarded Ambassador’s Scholarship since 2011.

3. In order to enable more Bhutanese UG students, who are still getting enrolled in Indian colleges/institutions, it has been decided to extend the last date for submission of online applications for the Ambassador's Scholarship by one month i.e. till 30 September, 2022. Any application received after the last date will not be considered.
