Applicants are required to visit the Embassy of India, Thimphu for filling up the Miscellaneous Consular Service form to avail the service. Consular fee of US$10 plus ICWF charge (or equivalent in Ngultrum) will be paid by the applicant towards acceptance of the application for re-issue of International Driving Permit (IDP).

 

 

Applicants are required to apply through the portal www.parivahan.gov.in by uploading the requisite documents, including receipt issued by the Embassy of India, Thimphu as mandated under the Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989. On receipt of application through the portal, the licensing authority, on verification of the documents, shall issue the IDP and shall courier it directly to the address of the applicant.

 

The above-mentioned services for Indian nationals will be made available by the Embassy of India. Thimphu with effect from 15 February 2021.
