During this visit, which coincided with the visit of Hon’ble Foreign Minister of Bhutan to India, the Bhutanese media persons were briefed by senior officials of the Ministry of External Affairs on all aspects of the bilateral partnership. The visiting media persons discussed contemporary issues of interest with representatives of Tata Consultancy Services and think tank Research and Information System as well as officials of the National Disaster Management Authority. Bhutanese journalists exchanged their domain expertise and experience with fellow journalists at the Indian Women Press Corps and at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication. In Mumbai, the group will witness trading activities at the Bombay Stock Exchange, meet with executives of Pharmexcil, visit the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and experience the thriving flora and fauna at the protected S.G.
